Who we are
Richard Johnson Group, LLC ("RJG," "we," "us") is an independent insurance agency with offices in Ringgold and Augusta, Georgia. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with this website, richardjohnsongroup.com, and the inquiries we receive through it.
Separately, when you become a client, the information you share with us in the course of applying for or maintaining insurance is handled under the privacy practices that apply to financial institutions and their agents, and under the privacy notices of the insurance carriers we submit your information to. Those notices come from the carrier and govern the carrier's own use of your information.
Information you give us directly
This website does not include a contact form or a quote form. The ways you can reach us from this site are by telephone and by email, using the links we publish. When you call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us, typically your name, contact details, and information about the coverage you're asking about.
If you go on to request a quote or purchase a policy, we will collect the additional information insurers need to underwrite it. That can include your address, date of birth, driver's license number, vehicle or property details, claims history, and, depending on the line of coverage and the carrier, information used to produce a credit-based insurance score, a motor vehicle report, or a loss history report.
